4.3.6 Cleaning the Dilution Container
Wash the dilution container unit and dilution container cover once a month to remove dirt and remnants of the rubber
cap. Inaccurate measurement results may be obtained if the dilution container is dirty.
Prepare: Purified water, cotton swabs, gauze
and protective gloves
1 Prepare for cleaning.
a On the standby screen, touch , <7. Maintenance menu> and <3. Dilution container> in that order.
b Touch .
• The piercing nozzle will move to the rear to make it easy to access the dilution container unit. Liquid will be drained
from the dilution container.
c Wait for the screen shown on the right to appear.
 Wear protective gloves to prevent exposure to pathogenic microbes.
 Discard used cleaning tools and protective gloves in accordance with local regulations for
biohazardous waste.
