9.5.6. Overdrive
Overdrive adds enough gain to the input so that it runs out of headroom, which cause the
input to clip and distort. This introduces harmonics that add a harsh edge to sounds, and is
similar to an overdrive pedal for guitar.
Drive Sets the overdrive amount.
Tone Turning this clockwise raises the frequency of a high-frequency shelving
filter to brighten the sound and adds a harsher edge.
Level Sets the Overdrive’s output level to compensate for any increase in output
level caused by increasing Drive.
