12. Connecting Gas

Gas Supply
The Gas port is located on the back of the incubator as shown in the figure below. Connect plastic
tubing (supplied with the incubator) and firmly tie them up with cable ties or clamps. The other end of
the tubing needs to be connected to gas regulator of gas supply tank or gas manifold. Please do not use
siphon type CO
2
cylinder.
Gas Pressure
The optimal gas supply pressure is approximately
0.03 Mpa (0.3 bar / 4.35 psi) for CO
2
0.05 Mpa (0.5 bar / 7.25 psi) for N
2
N

Excess gas pressure may cause malfunction and/or damage of the incubator.
