Step 12.
Inspect the wiring between the 103A Modular Jacks (Figure 18) or between
the 103A Modular Jack and jack panel (Figure 19) for damage.

After checking for outer damage, remove the cover from the modular jacks
for the voice terminal with trouble. (Loosen the center screw, but do not
remove the screw from the cover. Remove the two plastic caps by pulling
them straight up.) See Figure 20.
