5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

5.1 Operating commands and control devices

The crimping machine is operated exclusively by means of the relevant foot pedals (fig. 5.1). In the

legend below you find a description of the pedals functions.

Command description fig. 5.1:

1. Left pedal: press the left pedal to move forward the bracing clamp in order to fully clamp the

profile. The pedal is bistable. Press again the foot pedal to move the bracing clamp in his home

position.

2. Right pedal: press teh right pedal to activate the crimping cycle (forward movement of knives

and vertical cylinder). The pedal is monostable.
