7.6 Temperature control
The heat pump's operation is subject to the temperature
control.
The heating circuit water temperature setpoint is
adjusted according to the outdoor temperature.
If there are thermostatic valves on the installation,
these must be fully open or set higher than the normal
temperature setpoint.
7.6.1 Setting
During the installation, the temperature control must be
congured to suit the radiators and level of insulation of
the dwelling.
The temperature control graphs (gure 42) refer to a
room temperature setpoint of 20°C.
The temperature control's gradient determines the
impact of variations in the outdoor temperature on
variations in the heating ow temperature.
The steeper the gradient, the more likely a slight
reduction in the outdoor temperature will cause a
signicant increase in the water ow temperature in the
heating circuit.
The temperature control o󰀨-set modies the ow
temperature of all graphs, without modifying the gradient
(gure 43).
Corrective actions to take in the case of discomfort are
listed in the table (gure 44).
