7 Adjustments and servicing procedures
7.1 Drive motor
General
Never mix greases of different brands or types.
Keep the outside of the electric motor clean for efficient cooling. If necessary, remove
dust with a brush and/ or compressed air jet.
GA 11 VSD
The correct grease type can be ordered from Atlas Copco; see section Service kits.
For the regreasing interval see section Preventive maintenance schedule.
The bearings must be regreased with KLÜBERQUIET BQH 72-102
Quantity: 16 g (0.56 oz) per bearing at the drive end side
Quantity: 10 g (0.35 oz) per bearing at the non-drive end side
To regrease the motor, run the regreasing program from the ‘Test’ submenu on the regulator.
During the regreasing program, the compressor will run for 15 minutes at low speed. The
compressed air is blown off via the solenoid valve.
After carrying out all service actions in the relevant ‘Service Plan’, reset the service warning; see
section Service menu.
The compressor can be put into operation again by pressing the start button.
