7.4 Coolers
Location of the coolers
Coolers, GA 5 VSD up to GA 11 VSD
Procedure
Keep the coolers (Ca, Co and Cd) clean to maintain efficiency.
• Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage.
• Remove any dirt from the coolers with a fibre brush. Never use a wire brush or metal
objects.
• Then clean with an air jet in the reverse direction to normal flow.
• If it is necessary to wash the coolers (Ca, Co) with a cleaning agent, consult Atlas Copco.
