DANGER
CHECK THE CAPACITY OF THE
LIFTING ACCESSORIES AND OF THE
EQUIPMENT BEFORE RAISING THE
MACHINE.
CHECK THAT THE ENGINE TRAY IS
CORRECTLY LOCKED.
WHEN HANDLING THE MACHINE, NO
PERSONNEL OR EQUIPMENT MUST
BE ON BOARD THE WORK PLATFORM.
THE PLATFORM MUST BE IN STOWED
POSITION AND THE DECK
EXTENSIONS RETRACTED.
4.8. PARKING - STORAGE
Park the machine on level ground, in a well protected and ventilated area.
Retract the extensions and fully lower the platform.
Turn the wheels straight.
Place the control station selector switch to the O position and remove the key to prevent
any unauthorised use.
If necessary, use tarpaulins to protect the control units and the instruction or warning
decals.
For long term storage:
- Disconnect and charge the battery. See Section 7-5 Battery.
- Chock the wheels.
4.9. HANDLING - SECURING FOR TRANSPORT
4.9.1 HANDLING
When necessary, the machine can be transported using a forklift of appropriate capacity.
Position the forks in the locations identified below.
The machine may also be handled by means of
a crane or similar equipment using the
lifting/securing rings on the chassis. In this case,
a suitable lifting beam must be used to prevent
damage to the machine.
