FMB10 Encoder
Example(s) and comments
KEY=v
v from 0 to 250
System command.
This system command is to be used to enter
the secret code to unlock the write protection
on the parameters stored in the FMB10
encoder’s permanent memory
If the code entered corresponds to the RDS
encoder’s secret code, it sends a "+" and
opens access to the commands allowing the
parameters to be modified.
The unlocking remains active during 60
seconds after the last valid command entered
into the FMB10 encoder.
▲ WARNING
3 failed attempts will make the
encoder "deaf" to any new command during 18
hours of operation. After this time, you will be
given another three attempts.
The "KEY?" command displays the number of
attempts you have left.
▲ IMPORTANT: If you have lost the secret
code of the RDS encoder, contact your
distributor who will give you a password to
unlock it.
