ASCII instruction description
FMB10 Encoder

NKEY=v
v from 0 to 250
System command.
This system command defines or modifies the
RDS encoder’s secret code.
In order for this command to be active, the
secret code needs to have been entered
beforehand (KEY=<secret code>).
NKEY=0 will inhibit the secret code function
and make the encoder permanently
accessible : the FMB10 encoder is delivered in
this condition.

NPI=1

(1) NPI=2
NPI=1 causes the PI1 code, programmed by
means of the PI1= command, to be broadcast.
NPI=2 causes the PI2 code to be broadcast.

NPROG=1

NPROG=2
NPROG=1 is equivalent to the entering of the
2 commands "NPI=1" and "NPS=1".
NPROG=2 is equivalent to the entering of the
2 commands "NPI=2" and "NPS=2".
In the case where the switching between the 2
programmes must be done by the action of an
external switch, one must programme
NPROG=1.

ASCII Mode: the NPROG
parameter may be reread with
the command NPROG?
NPS=0
NPS=0 activates the "PS scrolling or revolving"
function.
In this case the transmitted PS code will be the
Radio text code (entered with TEXT=)
transmitted 8 characters by 8 characters at the
rate of a few seconds interval between each
block of 8 characters.
In this mode, it is advisable to deactivate the
Radio Text function (RT=0).
NPS is saved permanently in memory.
