– Remove the nut -2- and bolt -1- and remove the intake mani‐
fold support.
– Free up the wires.
– Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and move the left coolant pipe to
the side.
WARNING
The Fuel System is Under Pressure.
Risk of Injury from Fuel Spraying Out.
– Wear protective eyewear.
– Wear safety gloves.
– Reduce the pressure: place clean cloths around the con‐
nection point and carefully open the connection point.
– Remove the bolt -arrow- and the union nuts -1, and 2-.
– Remove the high pressure pipe.
– Seal off any open lines and connections with plugs that are
thoroughly cleaned from the -VAS6122- .
– Version with MPI system: loosen the hose clamp -arrow- and
disconnect the fuel hose.
