● Units must be connected (by service personnel) to a socket-outlet with a
protective earthing connection.
● Use only the AC power cord supplied with the device.
● When using only one Power Supply module, the second AC power socket on the
rear panel is covered by a plastic sticker. Please do not remove the sticker and
connect anything to this power socket. Remove the sticker only when two Power
Supply modules are used.

For dual power supply:
● Connect each Power Supply module to a different AC supply circuit.
● The two AC power sources must have the same ground potential.
● Configure the device to send an SNMP alarm (acPowerSupplyAlarm) upon a
failure or removal of any of the installed Power Supply modules. For enabling this
functionality, use the [Mediant1000DualPowerSupplySupported] parameter. For
more information, refer to the User's Manual.
➢ To connect the device to the power supply:
■ On the device's rear panel, connect the left (active) 100-240V~50-60 Hz power socket to a
standard electrical outlet using the supplied AC power cord.
