6.2. FIRST IGNITION AND ADJUSTMENT
Prior to switching on the burner, make sure the oven loading door is open.
CAUTION!
Before starting the rst ignition, check that the type of gas used matches that indicated on the CE plate
of the burner and, if required, proceed with the burner conversion, as described in paragraph 7.5.
CAUTION!
THE OVEN LOADING DOOR MUST ALWAYS BE OPENED BEFORE SWITCHING ON
THE BURNER, AND IT MUST STAY COMPLETELY OPEN FOR THE ENTIRE TIME THE
BURNER IS SWITCHED ON.

IMPORTANT!
Open the oven loading door prior to switching on the burner.
FIRST IGNITION
For the rst ignition procedure, follow the operations described below:

Rotate the control knob and keep it pressed on the
ignition position “1”, while pressing the button “A” until
the pilot ame ignites.

Release the button “A”, while continuing to press the
control knob for another 30” after the pilot ame ignites.

Release the control knob and the burner must remain
on only with the pilot ame.

Move the control knob from the ignition position “1” to
the large ame position “2”.

Keep the control knob on the large ame position “2”
until the desired temperature is reached.

Check the temperature by moving the control knob, if
necessary, from the large ame position “2” to the small
ame position “3”.
CAUTION!
The rst ignition may be difcult as it takes some time to let out all the air in the copper pipe
that feeds the pilot.
You must persist until the ame has been lit on the pilot head for the burner to ignite properly.
