Procedure
1. Press Home.
2. Tap Settings > Options & Settings > Assign Favorite Entries.
3. Perform one of the following actions:
• To add a favorite contact, tap Contacts.
• To add a favorite feature, tap Features.
4. Tap to select the required contact or feature.
Personalizing labels
About this task
You can change the labels that are displayed for your extensions, features, and system
numbers or speed dial buttons. For example, you can change the label for your extension to
My Line. If you have a button module attached to your deskphone, you can change any of
those labels. For example, you can change a Help Desk extension to read Help Desk. For

Procedure
1. Press Home.
Note:
To edit a label on an attached Avaya BM12 Button Module, press the Edit button
on the module and proceed to Step 7.
2. Tap Settings > Options & Settings > Application Settings > Personalize Button
Labels.
3. Tap either Extensions or Feature labels depending on which type of label you want
to personalize.
4. Tap the label that you want to edit.
5. Use the Edit keyboard to type the new label using up to 15 characters. For
information about using the keyboard, see

page 19.
6. Tap checkmark to save the new label.
7. You can revert back to the default button labels by selecting Options & Settings
> Application Settings > Restore Default Button Labels and tapping Default.
