MANUALTRACKDIVISION
Itispossibletodividetherecordingintotrackswhilerecording.
While recording is taking place, press the TRACK INCREMENT button on
REMOTECONTROL.Thecurrenttracknumberwillbeincrementedbyone.
The TRACK INCREMENT button works regardless of the MANUAL/AUTO
RECsetting.Thissectiondealswiththeactions
takenaft
errecording.

TOTURNRECORDOVER

(A) Press PLAY/PAUSE button to suspend recording
temporarily(pausemode).
(B)Startplayingtheothersideofrecord.
(C)PressthePLAY/PAUSEbuttonagaintocontinuerecording.

x  Rememberthateverytimerecordingispausedorstopped,anewtrack
numberwillalwaysbeassigned.Itisnotpossibletorecordintwostages
withinonetrack.

ERASE

1.Toeraserecording,pressCDbuttontoselectCDfunction.
2.PresstheERASEbuttonandERASEONEwillshowonthedisplay. 
NOTE:Youcanonlyerasefromthelastsongon.
Ifyouwanttoeraseallsongs, long press the ERASE button and
displaywillshow
ERA
SEALL.PressPLAYbuttontostarterasingall.
3.PressPLAYbuttontostarterasing.
PLEASENOTE:ErasefunctionworksonlywithCDRWdisc.

FINALIZING

In order for a disc to become a standard CD, it must have a Table of
Contents(TOC)writtentoit.Thisprocessisknownasfinalizing.

THECDMUSTBEFINALIZED.

1. Press the FINALIZE button in the stop mode. FINALIZE
appearsonthedisplay.
2.PressthePLAY(  )buttontostartfinalizing.
The display will show ‘Busy’ during finalization. Wait until the BUSY
disappearstocompletethefinalizing.Thefinalizingtimeissubjecttothe
contentsoftherecords.Itmaytakefewminutesinsomecases. 
x  Tocancelthefinalizingprocessbeforeitstarts,
pressth
eSTOPbutton.
x  Duringfinalizing,nobuttonswork.
x  Neverturnoffthepowerorunplugthepowercord.
x  Whentheoperationhasbeenfinished,theCDdoorwillopen.
x  To check a finalizeddisc, put thedisc in. Close the CD door.Itmeans
thediscisfina
lizedwhenthedisplayshowsCDRorCDRWonthelefttop
corner.

ForCDRorCDRW,ifitisrecordedandfinalized,thediscmaybeplayed
onotherCDplayers.Ifitisrecordedbutnotfinalized,thediscwillnotbe
able
tobepla
yedonotherCDplayers.
Oncefinalized,CDRdiscsaretrulyfinal.Nomoretrackscanberecorded
onthem.Bycontrast,CDRWdisccanbeunfinalized.Andifthereisspace
indisc,furthermaterialscanberecordedonthem.
