Local pairing –
Remote pairing –
The connection between AXIS Body Worn Assistant and the body worn camera requires a
pairing between the body worn user and AXIS Body Worn Assistant. The pairing involves AXIS
Body Worn Assistant, AXIS Body Worn Manager, and the body worn camera. The QR Code®
and the PIN code generated by AXIS Body Worn Manager are scanned and entered in AXIS
Body Worn Assistant resulting in a secure pairing.
Pair and connect AXIS Body Worn Assistant
AXIS Body Worn Manager offers two ways to pair a body worn user with a mobile device.
You have access to the body worn user's camera and mobile device.
You don't have access to the body worn user's camera and mobile device.
The body worn user receives a pairing request per email.
Note
To complete the pairing, the camera to pair must be assigned to the body worn user.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions in AXIS Body Worn Assistant.
