• Power
o The Hub senses ignition on/off and can delay shutdown for an agency
configured period.
o Power, ignition, and Signal inputs are forked from the Power and Signal
Harness to the Hub, Axon Signal Vehicle device, and router.
• Signal
o The Hub activates the Ethernet connected Fleet 3 cameras.
o The Axon Signal Vehicle device only activates Axon Body-Worn Cameras that
are in Bluetooth range.
When Upgrading from Fleet 1 or Fleet 2 to Fleet 3
The following items do not normally change and can be reused:
• Cradlepoint router
• Airgain 5-in-1 antenna
• MDC to router Ethernet cable
• Axon Signal Vehicle device
What items are new or change:
• The deploy script to Cradlepoint NetCloud for Internet QoS.
• A new Cradlepoint NetCloud Manager (NCM) Group is used.
• The router’s NCM Configuration.
• Updates for the router’s modem firmware and NCOS.
• Windows configuration
• Firewall, VPN, and Proxy configuration
• Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) enablement (optional).
• Axon Respond enablement (optional).
The following items are removed and will not be reused:
• Axon Fleet Power Units
