Accessing the web interface
To access the web-based user interface:
- Open a web browser and enter the IP-address chosen to be used for the BeoLink Gateway in the address eld and press Enter.
Now the BeoLink Gateway web interface appears.
Two choices are available:
- WEBPANEL is chosen to operate the Home Automation system via this interface. The entire Home Automation
installation can he operated by various methods, see page 5.
- SETUP is chosen to get access to all settings possible in the BeoLink gateway, see page 20.
SETUP
- Press the SETUP button to access the BeoLink Gateway setup functions.
The setup functions are used for rst time setup or any other setup of the system.
Now the login box appears.
First time login
- Type ‘admin’ in both elds and click
.
(The User name ‘admin’ exists per default and cannot be changed whereas the related Password can be
changed by the user later); see page 41.
User login
Other users can be created by entering a unique user name and a related password; see page 40.
Users can login either using their User name and related Password that is given access rights; see page 40.
Now the web-based setup interface appears by opening the Project page on the screen; see page 21.
WEBPANEL
The WEBPANEL button is used to operate the entire system via this Web-interface.
