BESTlogic™Plus BE1-11m
on any phase is below 2 X FLA, but above 5%
FLA for 300 ms, and the Motor is Started logic
input of the Motor Status logic block becomes
true.
Contacts Only
The Starting output is always false when Motor
Start Detection is configured for Contacts Only.
From a stopped condition, the BE1-11m goes
directly to the Running state if the Motor is
Started logic input of the Motor Status logic block
becomes true. The 66 element will not increment
and the 48 element will not operate when Motor
Start Detection is configured for Contacts Only.
○ Stopped – This output is true when the motor is
stopped. The Motor Stop Detection setting
controls how the BE1-11m identifies when a
motor is stopped.
Current Only
The motor is deemed “stopped” when all three
phases of current drop below 2% of FLA for
100 ms.
Current and Contacts
The motor is deemed “stopped” when all three
phases of current drop below 2% of FLA for
100 ms and the Motor is Stopped logic input of
the Motor Status logic block becomes true.
Contacts Only
The motor is deemed “stopped” when the Motor
is Stopped logic input of the Motor Status logic
block becomes true.
○ Start Blocked – This output is true when any one
of the following is true. The sequence of events
report identifies which condition is causing the
block.
■ The Block input is true.
■ The Starts per Time Interval (66) is
exceeded.
■ Existing TC% + Avg. Start TC% exceeds
100%.
■ Until the Restart Delay setting is
exceeded.
■ Until the Time Between Starts setting is
exceeded.
Figure 48-2 shows how the motor transitions between
stopped > starting > running > stopped based on a normal
current start. Figure 48-3 shows the transitions based on a
