Cooling circuit recommendation
To provide effective protection of the engine against freezing,
chemical and galvanic corrosion, cavitation and depositing, it
is IMPERATIVE that you use coolant as dened in technical
documentation DT 03.G01 provided with the engine. These
products are available from the S. I. Moteurs Baudouin
network.
Total circuit capacity
Engine 6 M26.2: 79 litres
Cooling circuit
The engine is cooled by two circuits:
b by a coolant circulating in a closed circuit (HT circuit),
b by raw water (standard equipment) circulating in an open
circuit (LT circuit).
The closed circuit circulation pump situated on the front side
of the engine feeds the oil cooler, cylinder liners,
turbochargers and cylinder heads.
The coolant temperature is controlled by 2 thermostatic
valves.
