Non-contractual illustrations
Correct use is the key to maximum engine durability.
b After starting up, let the engine idle for 2 or 3 minutes.
b Check that the circuits are leakproof.
b Check the remote controls are working properly.
b Let the engine warm up to reach normal operating
temperature.
b Do not exceed an engine speed of 1,000rpm until coolant
temperature reaches 60°C
b Gradually increase engine speed and load.
b Do not use the engine’s full load until the water temperature
has reached normal operating level.
Coolant temperature:
stabilised 80 ± 5°C
Take a regular look at the instruments. Regularly note the
values displayed in a logbook. Compare these values with
the operating specications featured in the Engine test
readings sheet.
Look for possible causes or anomalies in relation to normal
values. Take any necessary measures if values differ greatly
from the norm.
Operating empty or with a partial load
Empty or partial load operating periods may result in an
increase in oil consumption and premature wear of the
cylinders.
Whenever possible, apply a load exceeding 50% at least
once an hour.
Do not stop an engine which has been running empty or with
a partial load for over 30 minutes without rst applying a load
exceeding 50 %.
SAFETY WARNING
Users should carefully read the safety instructions before installing and operating the engine.
