Raw water circuit
Raw water is a general term regardless of the type of water
used (sea water, river water, mains water); by de nition the
water has not undergone treatment.
Raw water is drawn in through the hull by the raw water
pump. It cools the fl uid in the engine cooling circuit and the
air in the supercharger via heat exchangers. Raw water
backfl ow is discharged into the sea.
The circuit must be tted with a lter, with a ltration rating of
at least 1mm to prevent any foreign bodies from entering the
circuit and causing damage.
Central heating - option
For more information on the operation of the central heating
circuit, please refer to Technical Documentation DT M26.2
