Before starting up
b Check:
v engine oil level (see oil dipstick indications),
v coolant level,
v battery charge level,
v indicator light operation,
v hull valve opening,
v cleanliness of the seawater lter,
v cleanliness of the dry air lter,
v that controls are working properly,
v fuel levels in the tanks.
b Make sure that the components driven by the engine are
working properly (see Operation and Maintenance Manual).
b Bleed the water separator lter (option): open and let the
water in the lter run until the fuel starts to ow.
After starting up
b Check:
v Engine oil level with engine at idle (see oil dipstick
indications),
v engine oil pressure,
v raw water pump ow rate,
v battery charge.
