Oil fi lter
The 2 oil fi lters (ref. 15 04 168 0C) are full-fl ow disposable
cartridges.
A safety valve located in the cartridge is used in case the fi lter
clogs so that lubrication can continue even if the cartridge is
clogged.
These cartridges must be replaced during M1 maintenance
operations (see sheet D400 of this manual).
Centrifugal oil fi lter
The engine is fi tted with a centrifugal fi lter fi tted alongside the
lubrication circuit. The fi lter is fi tted on the upper section of
the engine oil fi lter support (starboard side).
The fi lter cartridge (ref. 15 04 901 0V) must be replaced
during M2 maintenance operations (see sheet D500 of this
manual).

Oil cooler
The engine is fi tted with an oil cooler located on the starboard
side of the engine.
Oil circulates through the oil cooler where it is cooled by the
engine coolant and then fi ltered.
