7.8 Momentum sensor
With the central lubrication pumps GIGA and GIGA PLUS, an external signal transmitter, such as SPS or on-board
computer, can be used to monitor the number of pump revolutions. For this, on the side of the motor cover is a 4-pin plug-
in connection with a red identification nut. Cables of various lengths can be plugged into this connection (see 15. List of
spare parts and 16. Drawing of spare parts).
Functional description:
Installed in the fill level reservoir is an inductive proximity switch, which transmits a signal for each pump rotation (Fig. 17).

lubrication systems
When using the pump GIGA PLUS in single line or dual
line lubrication systems the pump shall be equipped with
one (single line) or two (dual line) magnetic valves to relieve
the main line.
