7.5.2 Pump elements for central lubrication pump GIGAPLUS
If the installation of an integrated pressure limiting valve (version ball valve) is possible, pump elements without pressure
limiting valves can be installed in the GIGAPLUS pump. This pump element can only be supplied with a delivery volume
of 250 mm /stroke and is therefore identified with a notch. The lubricant volume for the lubrication circuit is adjusted by

combining outlets (see 8.3 Combining the delivery volumes at the central lubrication pump GIGA PLUS) or via the pump
runtime.
If no integrated pressure limiting valve can be installed (see 7.5.3 pressure limiting valves), pump elements with
integrated pressure limiting valves have to be used. They can also be combined with pump elements PE-250G without
pressure limiting valves.
If the lubrication circuit should be monitored using a micro switch, a pump element PE-120 G or PE-250 G with fitted micro
switch (Fig. 13) must be installed.
When using pump elements with pressure limiting valves, a combination of the outlets is not
possible.

7.5.3 Pressure limiting valves
The individual lubrication cycles of the central lubrication pump can be protected by a pressure limiting valve. This can be
done by a pressure limiting valve at the pump element ( ig. 11) for the GIGA pump or, regarding the GIGA PLUS aF
pressure limiting valve (version ball valve) that is installed at the pump element ( ig. 11) or/and an integrated pressureF
limiting valve (version ball valve) at the pump ( ig. 12).F
Lubricant comes out of the pressure limiting valve at the pump element with high pressure (280 bar)!
Wear safety goggles and do not stay in the pressure limiting valve area if there is an error at the lubrication
system.
Never carry out work on the central lubrication system or central lubrication pump if the power supply is
switched on!
Discharge the central lubrication system before starting work!
