7.4 Commissioning EDS
Proceed as follows to put into operation an EDS after commissioning the ISOMETER®:
1. First, search for all available measuring channels.
Menu path: Menu/EDS/Scan channels.
2. Activate all or only selected measuring channels. Additionally, select the required
menu item, confirm your selection with "OK" and start activation with

3. Test if the maximum locating current to the EDS is correct and adjust if necessary
(refer to 7.2.6 “Setting EDS current” on page 34).
