Remote Communication
Remote Communication is used to perform various functions on the Next Series 8 Printer from an external controller. The
communication is allowed to be via the serial port or Ethernet port.
General Overview
Remote communication paths are identified as follows.
• Via Telnet over Ethernet (Telnet 192.168.1.50 23)
• Via serial COM port (internal UART3)
The Remote Communication allows control over every feature on the Next Series 8 Printer outside of powering on and
powering off.
