before they can be deleted.

1. Press and hold the key to delete all old messages.
 
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select .
4. Press <MENU/OK> twice to conrm and delete all old messages.
 
When the answering system answers a call, you can listen at the telephone
base and / or handset while the caller leaves a message. You can then
identify the caller and decide whether to take the call in person or leave the
answering machine to record a message.
At any time if you want to pick up the call, you can press <TALK> on
any handset and the message recording will stop automatically, but any
message recorded up to then will be saved as a new message.
 
The message automatically plays on the telephone base. Use <
> &
< > on the base to adjust the speaker volume. The level will be shown in the
message window, and if set to L0 the screening at the base will be turned off.
 
This feature is only available when the option in the
handset menu is set to . To turn the handset screening on or off:
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select  and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select  and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select and then press <MENU/OK>.
5. Press <UP/DOWN> to select  or  and then press <MENU/OK>
to conrm the setting.
When the Handset Screening is turned on, all handsets will screen calls
through their speakerphone.
1. Press <MENU/OK> on the handset to switch the screening between the
speakerphone and the earpiece, if you want to listen with more privacy.
2. At any time if you want to pick up the call, you can press <TALK> on
the handset and the message recording will stop automatically, but any
message recorded up to then will be saved as a new message.
