Custom settings
Note ■ If the PIN has been changed from the default 0000
already, at step 4 it will display
Enter PIN and you need
to key in the current PIN and press MENU/OK,
before the display shows
Enter New PIN .
Using reset The Reset command will restore the iDECT V2i to its
factory default settings. Use Reset with care because it
will clear the Phonebook, Caller ID and Redial
memories, and delete all answering machine messages.
To reset all
settings to
their defaults:

Press the MENU/OK button
! The display shows Main Menu > Phonebook

d Press the D button THREE times
! The display shows Main Menu > Advanced Set

Press the MENU/OK button then the U button
ONCE
! Display shows Advanced Set > Reset

Press the MENU/OK button
! Display shows Enter PIN if your PIN code has
been changed from the default 0000. (If the PIN
is still 0000 the display shows Confirm Reset? and
you go to step 6.).

! Display shows Confirm Reset?

! You will hear a long confirmation beep.
