3. Place a drive ramp behind one of the drive wheels, position
both directional control joysticks in reverse, slowly turn the
speed control clockwise and the machine will drive
backwards on the drive ramp. When the side of the machine
is approx. 75 mm from ground level, turn the speed switch
clockwise to stop.
4. From the rear, slide the side seal into the seal box.
5. Position both directional control joysticks in forward position,
slowly turn speed control clockwise. The machine will move
forward and down the ramp. At the same time the side seal
will fully locate into the seal box. Check that both axles of the
side seal spring plate have come out at the top of the seal
box, to be sure that the side seal is positioned correctly.
6. Repeat this sequence of operations to install a new seal at
the opposite side.
Rear seal system:
The rear seal system comprises of one back brush, which is located
inside the rear seal box. It is clamped in place by locking screws.
To replace the back brush:
1. Drive the machine on the drive ramps as written above.
2. Unscrew the locking screws and pull out the worn brush.
3. Fit the new back brush inside the seal box and tighten the
locking screws.
