Directional control
Controls the direction of electric power to the drive wheel motors. The
control has a three position function; forward, reserve and neutral.
Left and right controls are independent from each other, giving
forward, reserve and precise steering control as follows:
Both controls in forward position : Machine drives forwards
Both controls in reserve position : Machine drives backwards
One control forward, one control reverse : Machine turns around
its center point
In addition there is a tracking control rotating switch that controls one
motor. Adjusting this switch at low speed ensures that the machine
travels straight. For quicker response during higher speeds there are
two wheel motor stop buttons. Pressing either of these will stop the
wheel motor to which is connected. This will give quick response
steering.
Speed control rotating switch
Controls the current flow through the directional control switches to
the drive wheel motors. Rotating the switch in anti-clockwise direction
reduces the speed of the machine down to a dead slow. Thus by
using the speed control switch, the forward/reverse speed of the
machine is precisely controlled.
Abrasive shot valve handle
The abrasive shot valve handle operates the shot valve (inside the
shot valve housing) between the abrasive storage hopper and the
blast wheel. When the handle is pulled upwards, the shot valve is
opened and abrasive is allowed to travel towards the blast wheel in a
progressive, controlled manner.
