8. Advanced Functions
Now lets take a look at some other functions such as O, Copy, Delete, Move, and Record Show.
8.1 O Function
Press the O key in LIVE SHOW to enter the o function.
[O Eects] — Closes shape eects on selected xtures, those that are not selected will not be aected.
[O All Eects] — All shape eects will be closed regardless if the xtures are selected or not.
[O Selected Fixtures] — Lamp o and stop the selected xtures.
[Release All Playbacks] — Release all running playbacks.
When O is set to on, you can release a single playback by pressing the key under the playback fader. But you have to
fade in again if you want it to run again.
8.2 Copy Function
Copy function can be used in Groups, Presets and Playbacks. Press the Copy key and select a root, then select a target:
1. If it is an empty target, you can simply copy and paste.
2. If there is already something in the target, you can select [Overwrite it] or [Merge].
3. If the copy and paste root and target are playbacks, there is an added option to [Copy to Last Step]. This function
makes it convenient to add several cues to one Cue-list playback.
8.3 Delete Function
Here you can delete all edited data. Press the Delete key to enter the delete function.
1. Delete All DataThis can delete all edited data on the console.
2. Delete All PresetThis can delete all presets that have been previously edited.
3. Delete All PlaybacksThis can delete all the playbacks that you have programmed.
4. Delete All GroupThis can delete all groups that you have edited.
You can delete a single xture, group, preset, user eect, macro, or playback using the delete
function. This function should be operated by using the keys.
1. Select the option Group, Fixture, Preset, Eect, Macro or Fixed. You can delete a single
xture, group, or preset by pressing the key twice.
2. If you want to delete a playback, press the key above the fader twice.
8.4 Move Function
It is easy to move a Group, Preset or Playback to other locations. Press the Move key, select a root, and then select a target:
1. For an empty move target, the move function will be complete.
2. If there is something already in the move target, you can select [Overwrite it] or [Swap].
Note: Fixtures can only be moved, they cannot swapped.
