MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION
HANDLES . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .PULL
Continue to cycle the speed brakes to relieve the hydraulic
pressure generated as the landing gear extends. Up to 4
minutes may be required until each gear is extended.
Note: With the landing gear lever UP or OFF, the red gear
indicator lights will be illuminated.
If all landing gear are not verified down and locked:
Accomplish the PARTIAL OR GEAR UP LANDING
checklist.
Plan for a flaps 15 landing.
Set VREF 15 + 10 knots.
[Provides tail clearance during landing since hydraulic system A flight
spoilers will be unlocked and may float.]
