Instructions for DIP switch 5
Set SDEB (= DIP switch 5 to ON) in the following cases:
– Ethernet host connection
– RS-485 host connection, provided only one AMC2 is connected on the bus.
Set BPA (= DIP switch 5 to OFF) in the case of an:
4 RS-485 host connection with more than one and maximum eight AMC2s per bus.

Changing the type of the host connection requires a reset of the AMC2 - see Resetting the
software, page 40 .
