11.2.3 Configuring with the IBS CMD SWT G4 software
The IBS CMD SWT G4 parameterization tool is used to plan the overall configuration
of the Interbus system.

11.2.4 Showing Interbus status on the display
The following fieldbus states are active when the corresponding symbol appears on
the display:
• BA bus active: the Interbus master is in the “running” state
• RD remote bus disable: the Interbus master has not yet initialized the bus.
Transition state after turning on voltage
• CC cable check: the bus cable is connected
• TR transmit/receive: data is being exchanged via PCP communication. The
duration of this symbol depends on the data transmission. With sporadic PCP
communication, the symbol only flashes briefly and may not always be visible
• ORB outgoing remote bus active: the outgoing remote bus is routed. This state
is configured using the ID 40/KONF diagnostics and parameterization program
(see Chapter 11.2.1 “Outgoing remote bus configuration”)
