The DMShapes Toolbar (continued)
Icon Label Description
Shape File
List
Displays the name of the most recently applied Command Map
(unless one has been saved in the current session).
When the program is first opened, the list box will default to show the
first file in the Shapes folder even though it is not applied to the DM.
To apply a Command Map, open the list and select the desired file.
• The selected Shape file will load in the application.
• The Actuator Display will refresh with the values in the Shape file.
• The proper commands will be sent to the DM.
• The Piston value will be set to 0.25
(although this has no effect on the DM).
If changes are made to actuator values in the actuator window the
Command Map shown is no longer applicable but remains displayed.
If a Command Map saved with the File>Save Shape As command,
the new Command Map file will appear in the Shape File list but the
Shape File displayed in the list box will default to show the first file in
the Shapes folder.
If a Command Map is added to the Shapes folder while DMShapes is
open it will not appear in the list until DMShapes is restarted.
