Autonomous obstacle avoidance
Autonomous obstacle avoidance is currently the most intelligent obstacle avoidance method. The
prerequisite for using this function is to install obstacle avoidance radar in advance.
After the obstacle avoidance radar is installed and turned on, when the obstacle avoidance radar
detects an obstacle, the ground station will display the distance between the aircraft and the obstacle
and the radar waveform. When the aircraft and the obstacle gradually approach, the color of the radar
waveform will turn red. And trigger the obstacle avoidance hover action. If the obstacle avoidance hover
is triggered, the obstacle avoidance hover mode can only be released by pushing and pulling the pitch
stick. The autonomous obstacle avoidance function is applicable in both position maintenance mode
and autonomous mode.
When the aircraft is static, you can also push and pull the pitch rod to observe the display of radar
waveforms and obstacle avoidance data on the ground station. If there are no obstacles in front or behind
the aircraft, there will be a gray radar waveform display without a value, indicating that the obstacle
avoidance radar is working normally. ; If there are obstacles, a yellow/red radar waveform with obstacle
avoidance values will be displayed when pushing and pulling the pitch.
The 󽗉nal distance between the aircraft and the obstacle depends on the speed of the aircraft 󽗊ying to the obstacle and is not a
󽗉xed value. Please use it with caution.
Please set the braking distance carefully, and make sure that obstacles can be detected normally when setting it up for the 󽗉rst
time.
