Figure 44: Static Aggregation Configuration
Aggregation groups use multiple ports in parallel to increase the link speed
beyond the limits of a port and to increase the redundancy for higher
availability. The radio uses aggregation group number 5 to provide more than
1Gbps over the air speed. Licensing a link to 2Gbps or 3Gbps, requires the
configuration of the wireless ports (7, 8, 9, & 10) to be members of group 5
aggregation.
This page allows the configuration of the Static Aggregation groups. The
system uses a Hash Code Algorithm to calculate per frame distribution
between the group’s member ports. The system allows for the selection of
specific frame’s header information to run the Hash algorithm. The following
options are part of the frame’s header and are used to generate the Hash
Code:
Source MAC Address
Destination MAC Address
IP Address
TCP/UDP Port Number
NOTE: The more options selected the better the distribution.
Aggregation Group Configuration:
Group ID: Indicates the group ID for the settings contained in
the same row. Group ID “Normal” indicates there is no
aggregation. Only one group ID is valid per port.
