1.3.9 “One Push Demo” setting (Function code 28)
<Function>
The One Push Demo function is to implement demo printing by key operation, which is mainly
used for sales promotion at the shop.
This function is disabled once printing is performed from the computer. Change the setting to
enable the function.
OnePushDemo = ON (Enabled)/OFF (Disabled)
The setting currently selected is marked “*”.
<Operating procedure>
(1) Press the 2 and 8 keys in this order in the initial state of the maintenance mode.
“OnePushDemo=ON” is displayed on the LCD.
(2) To enable the function, display “OnePushDemo=ON” using the or key. To disable
the function, display “OnePushDemo=OFF”.
(3) Press the SET key. The displayed setting is confirmed and the machine returns to the
initial state of the maintenance mode.
Note:
- To terminate this operation, press the X key. The machine returns to the initial state of the
maintenance mode.
- Once the One Push Demo function is enabled, printing from a computer does not disable
this function unless the power is turned OFF. After the One Push Demo function is
enabled, if the power is turned OFF and ON again, and then printing is made from a
computer, the function is disabled.
