Cursor
of
the
2032, as follows:
1.
Index the 2032 Field
Selector
to
the
Auxiliary
Information
field
of
the CURSOR
SETUP, and set the field
to
FLEX.
2.
Index the 2032 Field
Selector
one
position
to
the right.
3.
Enter the desired X-value
corresponding
to
the
current
cursor
position
into
this
field using the
numeric
keyboard, whereupon the Flexible
Cursor
read-out
will al-
ways be referenced
to
this value.
a)
If the
current
cursor
position
is 480Hz, and the Flexible
Cursor
is set
to
read 8,0
at
this
position,
the Flexible
Cursor
read-out
will be in cpm.
b)
If the
current
cursor
position
is on the
3rd
harmonic
of
a
harmonic
series and the
Flexible
Cursor
is set
to
read 3,0
at
this
position,
the Flexible
Cursor
read-out
will
be in
harmonic
number orders.
c)
If, in a measurement
of
sound in
air
at
sea level, (velocity
of
sound = 340 m/s), the
current
cursor
position
is
at
2,8 ms and the Flexible
Cursor
is set
to
read 0,952, the
Flexible
Cursor
read-out
will be in metres.
