2.4 Listening and Talking
The amplifier is addressed as a Listener or a Talker when it is addressed as such
by a controller.
The 2525 is un-addressed as a listener in one of the following ways:
● A controller sets the IFC (interface clear) bus line.
● Un-address is received from a controller (address 31).
● The amplifier is addressed as a Talker.
The 2525 is un-addressed as a talker in one of the following ways:
● A controller sets IFC.
● The amplifier is addressed as a listener.
● Untalk is received from a controller (address 31)
Note:
The Listen and Talk functions are not used with the serial interface.
When the amplifier is addressed as either a listener or a talker, an addressed message
is displayed on the bottom line of the screen.
