Error code Descriptions
E01 Problem in DRAM DATA LINE. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E02 Problem in DRAM ADDRESS LINE. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E03 Problem in RTC CHIP. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E04 Kernel extraction failed. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E06 The rmware is corrupted. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance. Wait 5 minutes
for “E04”, then shut down the unit. Or, turn the power switch o.
E07 No hard drives detected. If the hard drives are connected normally, contact Bualo
technical support for assistance.
E10 Operating from UPS battery. The LinkStation will be shut down normally. After the
LinkStation shuts down, ensure that power is supplied to the UPS. If there is no
problem, briey press the LinkStation’s function button to reset. Do not hold down
the function button too long or you may get unexpected results.
E11 Fan Error. The fan is spinning too slowly or has stopped. Move the unit to a cool place
with good airow and no objects blocking the fan. If the LED remains lit, replace the
fan with part OP-FAN/LS, sold separately.
E15 Hard drive IO error. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E16 The hard disk is not connected or is malfunctioning. Contact Bualo tech support for
assistance.
E17 Internal controller error. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E20 The circuit board may be damaged. Disconnect and then reconnect power. Reboot
the LinkStation. If the error persists, contact Bualo technical support for assistance.
E21 Internal controller error. Contact Bualo tech support for assistance.
E22 Drive mount error. Contact Bualo technical support for assistance.
E23 The hard drive may be damaged. Contact Bualo technical support for assistance.
