6.3 Start Up
CAUTION
During operation the surface of the machine may reach temperatures of more than
70°C.
Risk of burns!
• Avoid contact with the machine during and directly after operation.
CAUTION
Noise of running machine.
Risk of damage to hearing!
If persons are present in the vicinity of a non noise insulated machine over extended
periods:
• Make sure that ear protection is being used.
To start the machine:
• Press and hold the start/stop button (SSB) for at least 3 seconds.
• Monitor the operating values (Monitoring [►31]) and make sure that they always
comply with the operating conditions, see Technical Data [►52].
As soon as a warning/alarm signal occurred:
• Investigate the cause of the signal, see Dysfunction [►39].
NOTE
Activated oil level signal.
The machine is generally shipped without oil, therefore an alarm signal occurs during
the first start-up.
• As soon as the machine has been filled with oil, acknowledge the alarm signal by fol-
lowing the Warning/Alarm Acknowledgment Procedure [►40].
NOTE
Control mode “Remote/Auto“.
The machine cannot be started manually if the control mode is set to “Remote/Auto”.
