5. Setting up and using the BWT Manager Connect Duo
Once the hydraulic and electrical connections have been made and the various measuring and control elements
have been connected, your BWT Manager Connect Duo is ready to be put into operation.
1. Turn on the power.
2. Check that everything has gone smoothly, that the power station is switched on and that
the other elements of the installation have not been disturbed
The BWT Manager Connect Duo does not automatically start dosing and injecting treatment materials when
it is switched on. A "polarisation" time of the probes is first necessary (programmable). It then injects
products if this is required by the difference between the measured pH and redox values and those stored
by the user in the setpoints.
Probes and sensors are fragile! Please handle with care.
WARNING
WARNING
As soon as they are put into service and once a month, using a colorimetric analysis kit or standard
solutions, check the various parameters measured by the probes and displayed by the device. If
necessary, correct the relevant measurement(s).
▲ See paragraph "calibrations"
WARNING
For the measurements delivered by the probes and sensors of the equipment to be representative of
the water in the pool, the water must circulate in the pipes where these probes and sensors are
installed
CAUTION
Never inject chemicals into a pipe without water or circulation. Mixing of concentrated chemicals
would cause violent chemical reactions resulting in damage to the plant and danger to people in the
vicinity.
