2. General
2.1 Range and main functions
The BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO analysers/controllers you have just purchased is a high-tech electronic
device, carefully designed and built for your pleasure and peace of mind. The simplicity, user-friendliness and
technicality of the BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO will guarantee you perfect control of the water quality
of your pool or spa.
They are designed to regulate the pH and disinfectant chlorine content of swimming pool or spa water. The
free chlorine level can be measured directly (models equipped with an "amperometric" probe), or via the
measurement of the oxidation-reduction potential - ORP (models equipped with a "redox" probe).
The BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO controllers are available in 4 models:
- For spas with a water volume of between 1 and 20 m3 outdoors or between 1 and 25 m3 indoors:
closed cell pH/chlorine control with 0.5 litre/hour pumps:
- For family pools with a water volume of between 5 and 110 m3 outdoors, or between 5 and 130 m3
indoors: pH / redox control with 1.5 litre/hour pumps
- For public pools with a water volume of between 50 and 300 m3 outdoors, or between 50 and 350
m3 indoors: pH / free chlorine control
o With "open" free chlorine probe with 5 litre/hour pumps
o With "closed" free chlorine probe with 10 litre/hour pumps
The elements of the BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO for pools are pre-mounted on a rigid panel for
easy installation.
The BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO for private pools is available optionally as a panel-mounted or free-
standing unit.
The BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO for spas is delivered as a free-standing unit only.
Only spare parts and accessories corresponding to the characteristics of the BWT MANAGER CONNECT
DUO are permitted. Probes or interfaces that do not comply with the technical specifications in this
manual must not be used.
BWT MANAGER CONNECT DUO analysers/controllers are equipped with :
o a menu available in 7 languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch)
o an on-board WI-FI module
o 50 and 60 Hz compatible electronics
o IP65 sealed external quick connectors
o a silicone membrane keyboard
o 1 x 4-20 mA input (temperature)
o 2 end-of-bin entries
o 1 self-powered relay output
o 2 pump outputs
