and guarantee the operating performance of vehicle.
● In order to ensure the safety of the power battery, the car should be kept away from
flammable and explosive materials, fire sources and various hazardous chemicals.
● The available battery power can be reduced as the car use time increases.
● The car should be charged and parked away from the heat sources to avoid
long-term exposure to sunlight; otherwise the service life of the power battery will be
reduced.
● Do not store the car at temperature of more than 40℃ for a long time (more than 15
days); otherwise the service life of the power battery will be reduced.
● When the car is not used for a long time (more than 7 days), must keep the battery
power at 30%~50%; otherwise, the service life of the power battery will be reduced.
If it is not used for more than 3 months, the power battery must be fully charged and
discharged to 30%~50% once; otherwise, the power battery may be
over-discharged, resulting in its performance reduce or even damage; the resulted
fault and damage will not be beyond the warranty range.
● The big-current charge and discharge may reduce the service life of the power
battery. It is recommended to use a low-power charge device for charge and avoid
the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the car.
In case of an emergency accident, please note the following warnings:
● To avoid personal injury, do not touch the power battery directly;
● Please contact BYD Auto Authorized Service Station as soon as possible;
● If there is liquid leakage when the power battery is damaged, do not touch the liquid;
if the liquid accidentally contacts your skin or gets into eyes, must rinse them with
plenty of water and seek medical service immediately;
● In case of a car fire, must use a special fire extinguisher to extinguish it; do not use a
water-based fire extinguisher.
