During jacking process, the following rules must be observed to reduce the possibility of
personal injury:
● Do not allow any part of your body under the jacked car. Otherwise, it may cause
personal injury.
● When the car is jacked, do not turn on the power supply.
● Park the car on a flat and solid floor, apply the parking brake and place the shift
lever in “N” position. If necessary, place a stopper under the tire in the diagonal
direction of the deflated tire.
● Place the jack at the correct jacking point. If the car is jacked at an incorrect jacking
position, it may cause damage to the car or cause the car to fall from the jack and
even personal injury.

5. Confirm that there is no passenger
in the car, and jack the car to the
height at which the spare wheel can
be installed.
■ The ground height for installing the
spare wheel may higher than the
one for removing the deflated tire.
■ Insert the jack handle into the jack
(loosely engaged) and then rotate it
clockwise to jack the car.
■ When the jack touches the car and the car is jacked, must check the correct jacking
position again.
● When the car is only supported with a jack, do not allow any person to enter the
underside of the car.
