Parking system fault warning indicator
When the power supply is in “OK” position, the indicator will be turned on under the
following cases.
■ When the brake fluid level is too low;
■ When the parking brake is applied;
■ When the vacuum pressure is faulty;
■ When EBD (braking force distribution) is faulty;
■ When the electronic parking brake (if fitted) is faulty;
■ Others.......
During operation, if the warning indicator flashes, it does not indicate a fault.
■ Do not continue the driving when the brake fluid level is too low.
■ In any of the following cases, it is recommended to park the car in a safe place and
contact BYD Auto Authorized Service Station.
● When the power supply is in “OK” position, the indicator cannot be turned off
even if the parking brake is released. In this case, the brake may not be applied
normally and the parking distance will be too long. Depress the brake pedal
hard to park the car.
● When “ABS” warning indicator is turned on, the brake system warning indicator
is still on. In this case, not only the anti-lock brake system cannot be operated,
but also the brake system is also unstable, to require the careful driving.
